Originally launched in five test markets last year, Facebook today has expanded Facebook Dating to 14 additional countries. Surprisingly, Malaysia made it into the list as per official announcement that took place at the company’s F8 developer conference.
Alongside the market expansion, Facebook has also announced a new feature for Facebook Dating called Secret Crush. Through this feature, you can convey your romantic interest up to nine select Facebook friends.
If your crush (or crushes) have added you into their own Secret Crush list, you will then get matched up through Facebook Dating. While the list is private, you would receive a notification whenever someone added you into their own Secret Crush list which means someone within your Facebook friend list is interested in you.
In order to utilize Facebook Dating, you must first create a Dating profile which will be separated from your normal Facebook profile. You should be able to see the Dating section within your Bookmarks in the latest version of Facebook mobile apps.
