As promised, Huawei has officially launched its latest flagship phone in Malaysia which comes in the form of P30 and P30 Pro. Made their first global debut in Paris last week, these devices are the continuation of what P series is all about: delivering exceptional mobile photography experience.
It goes without saying that the P30 Pro is the main star of the series. Equipped with a quad camera system that Huawei co-developed with Leica, users have plenty of camera options on their hand including 40MP main snapper together with 20MP ultra wide-angle, and 8MP telephoto cameras as well as a time-of-flight camera for additional bokeh enhancements.
The periscope-shaped telephoto camera on P30 Pro which also features optical image stabilization is able to deliver up to 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and 50x digital zoom. Completing the phone’s general phone setup is a 32MP selfie camera.
On another hand, the P30 offers triple rear camera system which was also co-developed with Leica. Together with 40MP main snapper and 16MP ultra wide-angle camera, this particular model also comes with an 8MP telephoto camera but with zooming capability slightly shorter at 3x optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom, and 30x digital zoom.
