A new year means a new version of Fitbit and things are no different for 2019. For this year’s lineup, the company has brought forward a more affordable version of its last year’s device in the form of Versa Lite Edition. At the same time, Fitbit has also announced the new Inspire series which serves as the spiritual successor to the Alta series.

In general, Fitbit has retained the same design and display as well as majority of features from the original Versa for Versa Lite Edition. Here is a handy table that summarizes the differences between the new model and its slightly higher-end twin:

Another thing that differentiates the Versa Lite Edition apart is the fact that it has only one control button as opposed to three buttons on the standard Versa. However, the two extra buttons on the original Versa are shortcut buttons to launch users’ favorite apps which not exactly critical omission from Versa Lite Edition.

When it comes to colors, the Versa Lite Edition is available in four different options including White, Lilac, Mulberry, and Marina Blue. These are totally new colorways for the Versa family and has not been made available before for either the original Versa or Versa Special Edition.

As for the Inspire series, it is available in two different models: the Inspire HR and Inspire. Their names are rather self-explanatory since the biggest difference between them is the heart rate monitor which is available only on the Inspire HR.

The Inspire series brings together several upgrades over the Alta series such as a touch-screen, on-device dashboard, and swim-proof design. The Inspire HR also comes with Connected GPS which was previously available on Versa series.

Here is a summarized list of features available on Inspire series devices:

The new Fitbit Versa Lite is now readily available on Fitbit’s Lazada Flagship Store for RM 768 while similarly for Fitbit Inspire HR and Inspire as well, which are priced at RM 468 and RM 348 respectively. Consumers are also able to obtain these new Fitbit fitness wearables at Harvey Norman, Timekeeper, Flash Gadget, All IT Hypermarket, City Chain, and Best Denki branches.
