When Square Enix first announced Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, the game was originally destined to be a PlayStation 4 (PS4) exclusive. Now, not only is there a PC version, but the game is also getting a Free Edition on both platforms.
You’re probably wondering; what exactly is different between the free and paid version? Besides the fact that the Free Edition lacks a price tag, it also lacks a lot of key features. Key among them are the singleplayer story mode, as well as other offline modes.
You’ll also only be able to pick four out of the 34 characters. These four rotate every week, and if you decide you like a particular character, you can simply opt to buy said character, adding them to your roster. To be used at any time, as you please.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Free Edition is now available on the PlayStation Store and Steam.
