UPDATE (2:15 PM): Google has updated the G Suite Status’ website with a notice at 2:13 PM that all issues regarding Gmail and Google Drive have been rectified. However, the company didn’t reveal the exact nature of the issues that both services faced earlier today.
UPDATE (12:44 PM): It seems that the problem is more serious than we initially thought. Google will be providing an update by 1:44 PM with regards to the issues, as well as a timeline to when everything is expected to be back to normal.
ORIGINAL STORY (11:37 AM):
Google’s suite of productivity services seems to be experiencing a global outage at the moment.
While the service itself is working, users are having trouble sending out emails through Gmail and are experiencing interruptions while accessing documents stored on Google Drive. We can confirm that the outage is affecting both users of the premium workplace G Suite accounts as well as regular Google accounts.
