For those of you who are looking to own the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro in the new simple yet elegant Pearl White, you’ll be happy to know that the colour variant has officially reached our shores. First announced at IFA 2018, the new colour is technically based on Nacre. The organic-inorganic composite material that is also known as mother-of-pearl.
The colour came about when Huawei wanted to produce a colour that mimicked the iridescent nature of Nacre for its P20 series. The end result is a colour scheme that is able to refract light in such a way that the colour actually produces the same luster and sheen. Just as a pearl does in nature.
The Pearl White option for the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro are already available in Malaysia at all official Huawei stores. The P20 currently retails for the RM2329, while the P20 Pro variant is priced at RM2949. You can also order the phone online via Huawei’s official page.
