Dwayne Johnson, also famously known as The Rock, has teamed up with the fitness brand Under Armour to produce his own version of the UA Sport Wireless headphones. They themselves are powered by JBL, another big name in the industry.
Using Bluetooth connectivity, the UA Sport Wireless – Project Rock edition have been designed specifically in mind for rough and tumble environments in the gym. Aside from being wireless, they are also rubberized to absorb any impact if the headphone falls to the floor while doing vigorous activities.
For sweat resistance, it is rated IPX4 while the UA SuperVent ear cushions give good airflow to allow your ears to breath naturally. They are also removable and washable, so they can stay fresh after every workout.
In terms of battery life, they can last up to 16 hours per charge, and with a quick 5-minute charge it can last for 1 hour of usage. The audio quality apparently favours bass for deep-thumps and beats which should help pump up any exercise routines.
The UA Sport Wireless – Project Rock Edition is priced at US& 249.99 (RM 1,010) but no news on Malaysian availability just yet.
