Aside from the Galaxy J4 (2018) and Galaxy J6 (2018), Samsung has also launched the 2018 iteration of Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ in Malaysia. They are the second batch of 2018 Galaxy A Series devices that have been released in our market after the Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ which made their way here back in January.

Equipped with a 5.6-inch HD+ 18.5:9 Super AMOLED display, the A6 is running on Samsung’s own Exynos 7 Octa 7870 processor with a clock speed of 1.6GHz. Accompanying them are 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage together with support for microSD card of up to 256GB.

The phone also features a 16MP f/1.7 rear camera and 16MP f/.9 selfie camera alongside a tri-level LED flash. A non-removable 3000mAh battery completes the A6 (2018)’s general specifications.

On another hand, the “plus” on A6+ name not only means that it has bigger screen than the A6 but the phone eclipses its sibling in many other factors as well. Equipped with a 6-inch full HD+ 18.5:9 Super AMOLED display that also features Always On Display functionality, it also comes standard with 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, 4GB, and 32GB internal storage.

Other than that, the A6+ also carries 16MP f/1.7 and 5MP f/1.9 camera on its rear which allows the phone to deliver its Live Focus functionality. The phone also comes with a 24MP f/1.9 selfie camera and the same front-facing tri-level LED flash from A6. Not to forget, the A6+ is also powered by a 3500mAh battery.

In terms of pricing, the Galaxy A6 (2018) can be obtained for RM 1099 while the Galaxy A6+ (2018) is listed at RM 1399. Consumers can get them for slightly less though as Samsung Malaysia is giving away 6% discounts for each of these phones until 31 May 2018.
