Hotlink services have gone down in and around Klang Valley [Update: It’s Back Up]

We can confirm that after yesterday’s Umobile nationwide outage, Maxis’ prepaid service #Hotlink is currently down in and around the Klang Valley area. #Hotlink customers have informed us that they are able to receive calls, but are otherwise unable to make outgoing calls.

According to twitter user @artid, the Maxis Customer Service center in KLCC is also currently down, and they have not be able to give an estimate on how long rectification works will take.

What happened @Maxis @MaxisListens ? Why I can't make calls ? Is it just me or is there anyone else's also facing this prob ?

Update: Maxis has reached out to us and said that the issue has been resolved. According to a notice on the official Hotlink page, the company has rectified the problem and monitoring the situation for any unforeseen issues.
