OnePlus 6 is launching on 17 May , and thanks to a TENAA filing, we have confirmation on the specifications of the affordable flagship smartphone. It will have two models with both models running Qualcomm’s latest processor, with different RAM/storage options.
The OnePlus 6 will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, but with the clockspeed dialed down to 2.45GHz. This will mean the performance may be hit, but with the upside of better battery life in the longer run.
OnePlus will be offering the model with two storage options: one will be a 6GB RAM paired with 64GB of internal storage. The other will be an 8GB/128GB combo. For the display, a 2280 x 1080 pixel 6.28-inch panel will be the highlight. The 19:9 display ratio suggests that we will get a notch this coming May.
Dual-cameras will be at the back, with a 20MP+16MP combo sensor while the selfie shooter will be a 16MP unit. Plus a 3,300mAh battery will juice everything up. According to previous reports, the phone will retain the 3.5mm audio jack and sports a new metallic finish.
