A few days ago, we’ve written an article regarding a major issue with Nvidia’s 397.31 graphics driver which caused several GTX 1060-based systems to be in a endless restart loop. Thankfully, the company has recently released a fix for this issue with its new 397.55 Hot Fix graphics driver. We urge our readers who may be affected by the aforementioned issue to download the latest Nvidia graphics driver as soon as possible.
Interestingly, Nvidia has also detailed the errors that came with the 397.31 graphics driver. Three major issues were highlighted: error “43” on a few GTX 1060 models, occasional stutter on Netflix, and “accidental” driver removal on Windows 10 systems after they are left idle for a period of time. It should be noted, however, that the 397.55 graphics driver is not WHQL-certified, which means in may contain minor bugs as well – hopefully not as major as the previous one.
Speaking of which, the 397.55 graphics driver can be downloaded on Nvidia’s official website. More information regarding the new graphics driver can also be found on the same page as well.
