Grab is currently facing technical difficulties with its ride-sharing service. The exact nature of the problem is currently unknown, but the company has warned users that they may experience problems with finding a driver.
The problem it would seem was not just limited to Grab Malaysia, and affected Grab services across the region. Grab Indonesia, as well as Grab Singapore has also confirmed the outage via their respective Twitter accounts.
Due to a technical issue, you may not be able to use our Grab app as per normal. We are working hard to fix the issue and will be back to serve you as soon as we can. Apologies for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience.

The company Twitter account announced the problem roughly half an hour ago, although some reports indicate that problems have been happening for a little longer. No timeline has been shared for how long it will take to fix the issue, which means those that rely on ride-sharing might want to look into other alternatives.
[Update] Grab has resolved the issue and has its app working again. No reason was provided for the disrupted service, but it doesn’t sound like anything too serious.
Hi all, services are now back to normal. Thank you for your kind patience.
