In conjunction with the new year, Asus Malaysia is running a promotion on the Asus ZenFone 4 Max. With a very generous 4,100mAh battery, this long-lasting smartphone is now going for RM100 less.

Originally retailing at RM799 at launch, the ZenFone 4 Max can now be purchased for RM699. Not a huge discount, but price cuts are always welcomed. Unfortunately, Asus Malaysia did not mention how long this discount will be valid for.

Of course, we also looked at how much the ZenFone 4 Max is currently listed at on e-commerce sites, and it’s actually even more affordable. Wow Phone, for one, is offering the smartphone for only RM625. The retailer also has all three colours of the device in stock, which include Black, Gold, and Pink.

In terms of specifications, the ZenFone 4 Max features a 5.2-inch 720p IPS display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor paired with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, and a sizeable 4,100mAh battery. It also comes with a 13MP + 5MP (wide-angle) dual-camera system on the back and an 8MP front-facing shooter.

The Asus ZenFone 4 Max is ideal for those who want a long-lasting smartphone. If you’ve been eyeing it, now may be the best time to get it – it’s only going for RM625, after all.
