OnePlus looks to be getting an early start on 2018; with rumours saying that the upcoming OnePlus 6 will be released as early as March. Some specifications are also being talked about, particularly the existence of a display mounted fingerprint sensor.
It’s unclear if the the under-screen fingerprint technology is the same that was recently announced by Synaptic. If so, it could be the same as the one used by Vivo for its own flagship. We expect that this particular feature will become extremely common in 2018.
GizmoChina is also saying that the OnePlus 6 will ship with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 mobile platform. This may be wishful thinking on its part; considering that Samsung is said to be hoarding the next generation Snapdragon processors for the impending launch of its own Q1 flagship launch.
