JBL has teamed up with sports wear manufacturer Under Armour to launch the UA Sports Wireless Flex; a set of wireless earbuds designed specifically for athletes and fitness enthusiasts.
The new earbuds stands out due to the incorporated Flex Zone neckband. This allows users a better option in securing the audio devices to their bodies by securing it around the neck, instead of allowing it to swing freely like most other earbuds.
Also built into the UA Sport Wireless Flex is fast-charge capabilities. Usually found in smartphones, the fast charge in the UA Sport Wireless Flex gives users an hour’s worth of use with only five minutes of charging. Full charge will net 11-plus hours of continuous use.
A safety feature JBL and Under Armour incorporated in the earbud are integrated LED lights call Runsafe. The lights blinks in three different patterns to alert road users to the runner with the UA Sport Wireless Flex. Other notable features includes JBL Charged Sound, Bluetooth, buttons for playback control, magnets on the earbuds for secure storage and microUSB for power delivery.
The UA Sport Wireless Flex costs US$ 129.99 (RM 530) but no official availability has been announced for Malaysia as of yet.
