Gigabyte Debuts Radeon RX Vega WindForce 2X Graphics Card

Remember a few months ago when Gigabyte said that it’s not planning to release any custom RX Vega graphics cards? Well, it looks like the company changed its mind. Just recently, Gigabyte has debuted its custom RX Vega 64 WindForce 2X and RX Vega 56 WindForce 2X graphics cards.

When it comes to design, both the RX Vega 64 WindForce 2X and RX Vega 56 WindForce 2X are identical to one another. They come with an all black cooler shroud, which has a few hints of “Gigabyte orange” accents. In addition, the cooler shroud is also home to two 100mm open-air cooling fans. Being high-end graphics cards, both of Gigabyte’s newest custom RX Vega cards are also fitted with a backplate.

When it comes to specifications, both the RX Vega 64 WindForce 2X and RX Vega 56 WindForce 2X come with overclocked frequencies out of the box (slightly higher than Radeon’s stock clock speeds). That said, memory clock speeds of both graphics cards are kept standard. Those aside, these graphics cards are also equipped with three DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 port each.

Gigabyte has, unfortunately, not mentioned the local date of availability and pricing of both the RX Vega 64 WindForce 2X and RX Vega 56 WindForce 2X graphics cards. That said, we do expect Gigabyte to announce the aforementioned details soon – if the company decides to bring these graphics cards to Malaysia that is.
