Back in Computex 2017 earlier this year, Microsoft and Qualcomm have revealed a list of manufacturers that will be releasing Snapdragon 835-based Windows 10 devices very soon. Now, one of such device which is apparently made by ASUS has been spotted on Geekbench.
Based on the model number stated on the results, the alleged device seems to be an ASUS Zenbook Flip with a 13-inch screen. Aside from Qualcomm’s flagship-level chip, the device also apparently comes with 4GB of RAM.
The alleged score from Geekbench.
However, the single core score for the device is listed as 818 which is a far cry from the score that the Snapdragon 835 can achieve on Android device. For comparison, the same processor on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 scored 1810 for single core.
That being said, it is highly possible that the device above is just a prototype, and optimization is still in the works. Expect hear more regarding ARM-based Windows 10 devices as we get to the end of the year and CES 2018.
