Lenovo’s range of affordable IdeaPad laptops just got even better. The Chinese company’s entry-level laptops, the IdeaPad 320 and 320S, are now in Malaysia, and they come with Intel’s latest 8th generation processors as well as Nvidia’s surprisingly capable GeForce MX150 GPU.
We spotted the new IdeaPad 320 and 320S on Tech Hypermart’s online store; according to Lenovo Malaysia, these laptops were silently launched on our shores. Although they’re pretty affordable laptops, they are packing quite respectable hardware.
The IdeaPad 320 is the larger laptop of the two. It offers a 15.6-inch Full HD display, an Intel Core i5-8250U processor paired with 4GB of DDR4 RAM, a 1TB SATA HDD, and of course, an Nvidia GeForce MX150 GPU with 2GB of GDDR5 memory. It has rather generous connectivity options too, which include two USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type-C port, as well as an SD card reader.
And then we have the IdeaPad 320S, which will appeal to those who are looking for a more portable Windows laptop. For the most part, the 320S shares similar hardware as the larger 15.6-inch IdeaPad 320, but it swaps out the 1TB HDD for a faster – albeit smaller capacity – 256GB SSD. It also comes with a smaller 13.3-inch Full HD IPS display with minimal bezels.
Both the Lenovo IdeaPad 320 and IdeaPad 320S are now available for purchase from Tech Hypermart. The IdeaPad 320 retails at RM2,749, while the IdeaPad 320S goes for RM3,399. For the time being, Tech Hypermart is offering both laptops at discounted prices too.
