Tesla Unveils Powerbank Designed Based On Supercharger Monument

Tesla has launched its own-brand consumer electronic products. Starting with the Tesla Powerbank; designed to look like the Supercharger monument located at its headquarters.

Underneath the handsome-looking facade is a 3,350mAh battery, complete with integrated Apple Lightning connector and a detachable microUSB connector as well. It also features a high efficiency circuitry to deliver maximum battery capacity when needed. Yet, it only has a 1.5A max output, so this will not charge your phone fast (even though Tesla is famous for exactly that with its Supercharger technology).

If you want to grab one, you will have to wait as it is currently listed as ‘sold out’ on Tesla’s website, and be prepared to cough up money as the sticker price is US$ 45 (RM 187) a pop.
