XFX Releases Upcoming Custom RX Vega Graphics Card Teaser

Folks at XFX have apparently released a teaser for its upcoming custom RX Vega graphics card, which comes months after the official release of RX Vega by AMD. Prior to this, the only company that actually had a custom RX Vega graphics card is Asus (ROG Strix RX Vega 64). XFX’s upcoming graphics card, however, looks a tad bit more “flamboyant” compared to Asus’.

Speaking of which, when it comes to design, the unnamed custom RX Vega graphics card from XFX comes in an black cooler shroud, which surprisingly is endowed with carbon fibre-like accents. In addition, the cooler shroud is also home to two large red open-air cooling fans. Interestingly, the graphics card itself is shaped like an “X”.

Of course, being a “premium” graphics card means that the XFX RX Vega is fitted with a backplate as well. Despite this, this graphics card doesn’t seem to feature RGB lighting, but the XFX logo located on top of the graphics card does glow, so that’s something. Unfortunately, aside from several teaser images, details like key specifications, release date and pricing of the XFX RX Vega was not mentioned.

It’s also not known whether this custom XFX graphics card will be based on Radeon’s RX Vega 56 or RX Vega 64 – there’s also the possibility of XFX using this same design for both iteration of RX Vega graphics card. Alas, we’ll have to wait for XFX’s official announcement to know for sure.
