You Can Now Buy the Samsung Galaxy S8 & S8+ For RM900 Less in Malaysia

Samsung has had quite a successful year so far with its various flagship smartphones. Now, the Korean company’s first two premium phones of 2017, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+, have received quite a considerable discount – RM900 price cut, to be specific.

Of course, this is not an official price revision on Samsung Malaysia’s part. Rather, it’s how much these two phones are currently going for from various online retailers. Let’s start with the Galaxy S8: originally retailing at RM3,299, the flagship smartphone can now be purchased for only RM2,399 on Lazada.

The bigger device of the two, the Galaxy S8+, receives a similar price cut as well. On Shopee, the S8+ is currently listed at RM2,799 – that’s RM900 less than its original retail price.

Considering the fact that it has been half a year since these two flagship smartphones were launched in Malaysia, these price cuts are not exactly surprising. For RM900 less, the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ offer very, very good value for money here. Both phones have similar camera systems as the Galaxy Note 8 – minus the telephoto lens – and their Infinity Displays are really some of the best displays in the market.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is now available for RM2,399 on Lazada in Orchid Grey and Maple Gold. The Galaxy S8+, on the other hand, is priced at RM2,799 on Shopee; at the time of writing, only three units are left. Before you decide to purchase either phones, however, it may be worth it to wait for the 11/11 sale this Saturday – some retailers could offer even better deals.
