Uber is more known as a ride hailing company but truth to be told, they do offer additional services in selected markets such as UberEATS which is essentially an on-demand meal delivery service. If you have been wishing to have this particular service in our market, guess what: it will indeed be launched in Malaysia really soon.
This was confirmed by Uber Malaysia itself through two separate postings on its Instagram page this week. In fact, the company has also revealed that UberEATS is doing trial run in Kuala Lumpur at the moment and users might be able to spot its riders on the streets.
However, it seems that the trial run is being done internally though as UberEATS app still showed coming soon status for Kuala Lumpur. Nevertheless, the map in the app did also seems to already display the coverage for UberEATS in the city:
