(Updated) iPhone 6s Plus Going for RM700 Less in Malaysia

(Update: Apple has clarified that this is an ongoing promotion between its premium resellers, and not a new one as per our original report. The article has been updated to reflect that.)

If you’re still looking for a good deal for the iPhone 6s Plus, you can still get it for RM700 off its original retail price. This promotion, which started back in April this year, lets you purchase one from only RM2,499.

This price cut is currently available from all Apple premium resellers, as well as partners such as Senheng. Two variants of the iPhone 6s Plus are discounted: the 32GB and 128GB models. Naturally, this price cut applies to four colours of the 6s Plus: Silver, Space Grey, Gold, and Rose Gold.

Interestingly, some retailers are offering different prices for the iPhone 6s Plus promotion. Back in April, Senheng ran the same promotion for the iPhone 6s Plus, and the discount is currently still ongoing. However, instead of a RM700 price cut, Senheng is only offering RM600 off now. Still a good discount, of course, and Senheng is bundling quite a number of freebies too.

On the other hand, All IT Hypermarket is offering an even better promotion, but only on the 32GB iPhone 6s Plus. The retailer is currently listing the iPhone for only RM2,399, although consumers will have to pick up the phone from its physical outlets. (Thanks for the tip HackMachine!)

At the time of writing, both 32GB and 128GB models of the Silver iPhone 6s Plus are sold out; the 32GB Rose Gold model is also not available anymore. Aside from these three models, other variants of the 6s Plus are still available on Switch’s online store. You can also purchase them from Mac City (though you’ll be forced to buy a power bank together with the phone), but Machines no longer has the phone in stock.
