HP just launched the new Spectre x360 convertible laptop in Malaysia. Even though it’s the very same Kaby Lake model launched on our shores late last year, the Spectre x360 now comes with the HP Active Pen as well; something we imagine creative professionals will appreciate.

That’s right: the only thing that differentiates the new Spectre x360 from the model we reviewed earlier this year is the bundled HP Active Pen. Beyond the Active Pen support, the convertible laptop still comes with an Intel Core i5-7200U or i7-7500U processor, 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and a speedy 256GB M.2 PCIe SSD.

Rounding out the specifications of the new Spectre x360 are a 13.3-inch 1920 x 1080 display, Intel HD Graphics 620, a pair of USB Type-C ports, a USB 3.1 port, as well as up to 15 hours of battery life. Interestingly, this convertible also comes with HP Fast Charge, which HP says can charge up the Spectre x360 to 90% within 90 minutes of charging.

The new HP Spectre x360 is now available for purchase in Malaysia. The Core i5 model retails at RM5,299, while the Core i7 variant goes for RM6,099. Two colour options are available: Dark Ash Silver and Natural Silver.
