Based on our past experiences, OnePlus smartphones would usually take quite some time to reach Malaysia. That apparently will change very soon as Brightstar Malaysia has revealed the newly announced OnePlus 5 could make its way to Malaysia as soon as next month.
Not only that, the company who is the official distributor for OnePlus in our market has also revealed the official price for the smartphone in Malaysia:
6GB RAM/64GB internal storage in Slate Gray: RM 2,388
8GB RM/128GB internal storage in Midnight Black: RM 2,688
Both pricings are inclusive of GST which should be a great news to users that want to get their hands on the device but is being tempted to obtain it from parallel importers that would usually put a much higher price tags.
While Brightstar is not able to reveal the actual release date of the OnePlus 5 in Malaysia at the moment, the company stated that it will be opening pre-order for the device very soon. Well then, we’ll keep you updated once the time comes.
