Transcend Unveils Industrial-Grade SSD430 SSD

Transcend has announced its newest product in the form of an SSD. Dubbed the SSD430, the company claims that its latest product as an ‘industrial-grade SSD’. In addition, the SSD430 SSD also comes with several impressive features as well.

Transcend’s SSD430 features technologies such as 3D MLC NAND , ECC technology (error correcting code) and DDR3 DRAM cache. Impressively, Transcend has also given users the ability to monitor the SSD’s health via the company’s SSD Scope Pro software. The software also allows one to securely erase date, clone system, and perform diagnostic scans.

When it comes to performance, Transcend’s SSD430 boasts sequential read and write speeds of 560MBps and 490MBps respectively. Meanwhile, random read and write speeds of the SSD are rated at 310MBps and 350MBps respectively. According to Transcend, the SSD430 is manufactured for long-term use, which makes it suitable for use with industrial PCs.

Transcend’s SSD430 is available in two storage capacity variants: 120GB and 240GB. In addition, the SSD is also covered with a three-year limited warranty from the company. Unfortunately, Transcend has not mentioned the local price and date of availability for the SSD430. More information regarding the4 SSD430 can be found on Transcend’s official website.
