Gigabyte Unveils Aero 15 Gaming Laptop with Slim Bezels & 10 Hours Battery Life

Gigabyte has added a new product to its line of Aero gaming laptops. Aptly called the Gigabyte Aero 15, this 15-inch gaming laptop has very, very minimal bezels; it’s also a plenty capable gaming machine.

Measuring only 22mm thick, the Aero 15 is pretty slim for a gaming laptop of its caliber. Powering this laptop is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 GPU, and while it’s not quite as powerful as the GPU found in the Acer Predator Triton 700 or the Razer Blade Pro, it’s certainly powerful enough to run most modern games in the market well.

Other specifications of the Aero 15 are plenty impressive too. It features a 15.6-inch 4K or 1080p anti-glare display – the 4K model is only shipping later this year – a Kaby Lake-based Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor paired with up to 16GB of RAM, two M.2 SSD slots, an RGB keyboard, and a 94.24Wh battery. According to Gigabyte, this battery capacity can provide up to 10 hours of battery life, but we imagine this is only when the Aero 15 is used as a productivity machine.

The Gigabyte Aero 15 is currently available in the US in three distinct colours: orange, green, and black. Of course, this being a slim gaming laptop, it’s not exactly affordable too: the Aero 15 retails at $1,899, which comes up to about RM8,200.
