Celcom today has announced the addition of a new feature called GBshare to selected Celcom First postpaid plans. In many ways, the feature is a new take on the telco’s existing supplementary plan policy.

Available for First Gold Plus and First Platinum plans, customers weekday and weekend data quota will be merged under one main data pool when they activated GBshare. At the same time, the pool will also get larger as more supplementary lines (officially referred to as GBshare line) are added as each GBshare line comes with more data.

In terms of data allocation for each supplementary line, the principal line holder able to control it through MyCelcom Postpaid app. This table pretty much summarizes what GBShare is all about:

Of course, Celcom didn’t forget to compare GBshare with what other players are offering right now:

The new GBShare feature for Celcom First Gold Plus and First Platinum plans are now available for customers to activate immediately. For Celcom First Blue and First Gold plans, their supplementary plan policy remains the same through First 1+5 Family Plan.
