Zotac’s GTX 1080 Ti PGF Edition Graphics Cards Detailed

Zotac have released what seems to be its most flamboyant custom graphics cards to date: the GTX 1080 Ti PGF edition and GTX 1080 Ti PGF Extreme OC edition. Interestingly, these graphics cards were first spotted about a month ago but no specifications were available at the time.

This time round, folks at VideoCardz have managed obtain specifications of both the GTX 1080 Ti PGF and GTX 1080 Ti PGF Extreme OC. Let’s first talk about their finalised design. As expected, Zotac’s upcoming graphics cards does come with an exuberant cooler shroud.

Yes, their cooler shroud still looks like a rave party, which is probably Zotac’s main selling point for both graphics cards. That said, it’s not known whether consumers will be able to customise the LED-lit areas on the front of the graphics card. VideoCardz noted that most images of these graphics card only show the cooler shroud being illuminated in blue light.

That aside, the specifications of both the GTX 1080 Ti PGF and GTX 1080 Ti PGF Extreme OC are actually pretty impressive. For starters, the Zotac GTX 1080 Ti PGF features base and boost clock speeds of 1569MHz and 1638MHz respectively. Meanwhile, the more powerful GTX 1080 Ti PGF Extreme OC comes with clock speeds of 1620MHz (base) and 1733MHz (boost).

It’s also worth noting that Zotac will be providing consumers with the option of equipping these graphics cards with either an LED-lit backplate or one that’s not illuminated. Unfortunately, it seems very likely that Zotac will only be making the GTX 1080 Ti PGF and GTX 1080 Ti PGF Extreme OC available in China. Pricing was not announced at the time of writing.
