The Nintendo Switch is shaping up to be the Japanese company’s must successful console yet, but the Switch has its fair share of issues too – the latest one seems to be pretty severe. Turns out, many Switch owners are reporting that their consoles are…warping.
This issue first came to light on Reddit when user _NSR reported that his Switch console started warping; according to him, his unit is usually docked. While some are speculating that the extra heat from docking is causing the Switch to warp, other users who have their units docked most of the time are reporting that their Switch consoles are not warped or bent in any way.

That being said, there’s quite a number of Switch owners with similar warping issues too; one even almost use the device exclusively in handheld mode. Although these warped Switch consoles are reportedly working fine, it’s almost never a good thing whenever an electronic device starts losing its original shape.
Regardless, it appears Nintendo is willing to repair Switch consoles affected by this warping issue. Hopefully, this isn’t a widespread problem: we imagine it won’t be quite as easy to get warped Switch consoles fixed here in Malaysia.
