Digi Postpaid Infinite Plan Offers Unlimited Calls, Unlimited Internet, & More

Most postpaid plans today offers unlimited calls and sometimes SMS to its subscribers, but so far no telco has offered a “truly unlimited data” plan. It looks like that is about to change, as Digi has taken the wraps off the new Digi Postpaid Infinite plan.

Digi has just introduced two new Digi Postpaid Infinite plans – one for RM150 and another for RM80. Both plans come with unlimited calls and unlimited internet, but the cheaper option has a speed limit of 5Mbps, and does not allow tethering unless you pay more.

The more expensive RM150 plan comes with unlimited high-speed internet, unlimited calls, free tethering, 1000 SMS, and free “Roam Like Home” in 8 countries.

Do note that this is a limited time promotion only and is valid until 24 June 2017. They are not available for device contract sign ups. As a special launch promotion, Digi is giving free Hotspot Pass for the first 10,000 subscribers on Digi Postpaid 80 Infinite for the first 12 months (limited to first 5GB only). In addition to that, this is an online exclusive deal, so visit Digi’s website to sign up for a new line, or port in with your existing number.

General terms and conditions applies. For example, the unlimited calls and internet are available for domestic usage only. You can opt for Roam Like Home for RM10 a month for Postpaid 80 Infinite or free with Postpaid 150 Infinite, and get 5GB of data and 60 minutes of calls a month. The unlimited calls are available for local numbers, not including special numbers.

The Digi Postpaid Infinite are definitely very attractive plans. Unlike other telcos that offers free data for videos and music streaming services, or free 4G LTE data for weekends only, Digi is offering free unlimited data for everything, without any limit.

On top of that, for those who travel around frequently to popular destinations such as China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand and more, the new RM150 plan offers free Roam Like Home service, which offers 5GB of data and 60 minutes of calls each month.

Speaking of which, the RM150 option may sound expensive, but the combination of unlimited tethering and unlimited high speed internet essentially allows you to cancel your broadband subscription at home and just use the Digi Postpaid Infinite plan. Plus, with an extensive 85% LTE and 41% LTE-A coverage across Malaysia, you will get LTE speeds in most of the places you visit.

We have mentioned before that one of the next big things that will happen in the local telco scene is for a telco to offer a truly unlimited plan, and the Digi Postpaid Infinite looks to be it.
