Celcom has officially launched its latest subscription-based game portal called “Game Hero”. It’s essentially a game portal that hosts games and tournaments from time to time; and the company is prepared to offer up to RM1 million worth of prizes to kick things off.
Celcom’s Game Hero will be focused on one specific game for now, which is “Sky Invasion 3D”. All players have to do play the game and try to reach the top of the leaderboards. The highest score at the end of event will win RM250,000, with RM150,000 and RM100,000 going to second and third place respectively.
How To Register For Celcom Game Hero?
To be in the running to win a share of the RM1 million prize, customers must first register themselves as a Celcom Game Hero subscriber. Existing users will be charged a subscription fee of RM3/week, while new Celcom customers will be able to register for free until the 6th of April 2017.
Do take note that Celcom Game Hero is only open to Celcom customers and they will need to enable their Celcom mobile data to login to Game Hero. Once registered and logged in, just download the Sky Invasion 3D app from either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
Apart from that, the company has also introduced an in-game item, “War Chests”. Players come back to the app daily, and can use GEMS (in-game currency) to purchase one of three chests. Each war chest contains a different prize in the form of Xpax prepaid reloads (RM50, RM100, or RM200) and GEMS.
