It looks like Apple is working on an original TV series, but don’t expect a hilarious comedy or a blockbuster movie. According to the New York Post, the TV series will be an unscripted show about app developers, designed to boost interest in the Apple App Store.
According to the New York Post, Apple is working with Will.i.am, and TV executives Ben Silverman and Howard T. Owens for the series. Apple said that the TV series would be distributed across its devices. Sadly though, the Cupertino company did not provide further information.
“We’ve been focused on a lot of content around Apple Music, video is a big part of it and we’ll do more of those. This was another opportunity right up our alley with apps.” – Eddy Cue, Senior Vice President of Internet Software and Services, Apple.
Apple has been reported to be working on another TV series called Vital Signs. According to reports, the show is a dark series starring Dr. Dre, and is made to help promote Apple Music.
