Celcom Now Offering Huawei Mate 8 from RM1,608

Celcom recently added the Huawei Mate 8 to its device bundle, offering one of the latest smartphone from Huawei from as low as RM1,608. The device is available with the telco’s most updated First Blue and First Gold postpaid plans.

Celcom seems to be taking a different approach with its device bundles lately. While the rest of the major telco players want to tie users up to a 24 months contract, the bundle for its First Gold plan is only 12 months. Sure, the subsidy is less, but if you are one of those who would like to upgrade to a new phone every year, 12 months contract makes a lot more sense. As for the Celcom First Blue plan, it comes with a 2-year contract.

Get the Huawei Mate 8 for RM1,608 when you sign up for a 24 months contract with First Blue plan at RM45 a month. The plan comes with 2GB of monthly data, 2GB of data for weekends (500MB each weekend), free 50 minutes of calls, and free 50 SMS.

Alternatively, sign up for a 12 months contract with First Gold plan at RM80 a month, and get the Huawei Mate 8 for RM1,818. The Celcom First Gold plan comes with 5GB of monthly data, 5GB of free weekend data (1.25GB each weekend), and unlimited calls & SMS.
