Thermaltake has announced a new revision of its Core X71 PC case called the Core X71 Tempered Glass Edition. This new case now comes with 4mm-thick tempered glass side panels, which, obviously is ‘better looking’ compared to the clear acrylic windows found on the original full-tower Core X71.
Aside from the new 4mm tempered glass side panels, the design of Thermaltake’s Core X71 Tempered Glass Edition remains true to its predecessor. Consumers will still be able to fit ‘larger than normal’ motherboards onto the PC case, along with graphics cards that are longer than 350mm (up to 420mm).
The Core X71 Tempered Glass Edition PC case also comes with plenty of room for users to fit a plethora of cooling fans. In addition, because the PC case is rather large, one will also able to fit other abnormally sized components such as: a 180mm CPU cooler, a 220mm (length) PSU, and a 480mm radiator as well.
When it comes to design, however, the Thermaltake Core X71 Tempered Glass Edition – on its own – isn’t really a chassis that’ll turn plenty of heads. But the amount of room that’s available inside the PC case should give one the flexibility to turn it into an attention grabber. Unfortunately, the price and release date of the Thermaltake Core X71 Tempered Glass Edition was not announced.
