Pinterest is currently rolling out an update that brings a new “Explore” section to its platform. Explore will show you what’s trending on Pinterest, making it easier for you to discover new ideas saved by other Pinterest users all around the world.
Pinterest has over 75 billion ideas on its platform, with millions more added every single day, and the company does not want you to miss out on the good stuff. Explore is similar to what Pinterest currently has, but on top of giving you new personal recommendations based on your Pins, Explore will also show you trending topics. You can customise what you see on Explore too, just pick the topics you are interested in be it food, home decoration, DIY, pets, tattoos, kids, and such.
On top of recommending trending Pins from other users, Pinterest will also feature top picks from tastemakers, industry experts and even Pinterest employees, so keep an eye out for ideas and videos from your favourite brands and publishers like Tastemade, HGTV, Harper’s Bazaaar, National Geographic, BuzzFeed, and more. The update also lets you watch videos right on Pinterest itself so you can instantly see how to bring each idea to life.
Pinterest is currently rolling out its new Explore feature and could take about a week or so before it reaches everyone, so if you don’t see it yet, check back again in a day or two.
