Just moments after midnight, U Mobile has launched its registration of interest (RoI) page for the new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Not only that, telco has also revealed that the new smartphone from Apple will arrive in Malaysia on Friday, 14 October 2016.
However, this release date has yet to be confirmed by Apple itself. Furthermore, at the time this is article is published, Apple also has yet to include U Mobile or any Malaysian telcos in iPhone’s LTE list on which is one of the signs that we usually refer to know if the company is ready to release iPhone in our market.
Then again, it is hard to doubt the date given by U Mobile though as other telcos have begun to tease iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus as well which is a clear sign that both devices are coming to Malaysia real soon. As a reference point, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus was launched in Malaysia on 16 October 2015.
