You Can Now Pre-Order Intel Skull Canyon NUC In Malaysia For RM 3,599

Originally launched in March, the Intel Skull Canyon NUC (or NUC6i7KYK for those who prefer its official name) not only looked different from other NUC Mini PC that Intel has produced but it is also one of the most powerful NUC in the market. Soon, the machine will be made available in Malaysia as part of Medusa Gaming Series by SNS Network who is also responsible for JOI devices.

Despite being released as part of its own product line-up, the Ipoh-based company didn’t make any changes to the Skull Canyon NUC exterior. Given how badass the NUC already looked like especially with the huge Skull Canyon logo on its lid, no changes are needed indeed if you asked us.

According to the specs sheet, the Skull Canyon NUC comes with Intel Core i7-6770HQ quad-core processor which features Hyper-Threading technology together with base clock speed of 2.6GHz and max turbo speed of 3.5GHz. The NUC also relies on the processor’s Intel Iris Pro Graphics 850 as its GPU although users are able to plug it to an external graphics card enclosure via Thunderbolt 3 for better graphical performance.

Even though a typical NUC kit usually doesn’t come with its own RAM and storage, SNS Network has already included 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 120GB solid state drive into the Skull Canyon NUC as standard. Covered by 3 years of warranty, users are able to pre-order the Skull Canyon NUC immediately for RM 3,599 although SNS Network somehow didn’t reveal the actual release date for it.
