OnePlus 3 Hardware Detailed: Snapdragon 820, 5.5″ 1080p AMOLED Display, 16MP Camera

The OnePlus 3 has been leaked pretty extensively now, and this latest leak pretty much revealed a good portion of the upcoming flagship’s specifications. The best part is, the OnePlus 3 may just run the latest version of Android, Android N, out of the box.

As usual, this latest leak concerning the OnePlus 3 came from none other than Evan Blass aka @evleaks, who is well-known for giving accurate information ahead of certain devices’ official unveiling. Based on a screenshot Blass has posted on his Twitter account, OnePlus’ upcoming smartphone seems to be running on a preview build of Android N.

Of course, this could merely be something that is currently in development for the OnePlus 3. After all, Android N hasn’t even been released yet – it doesn’t even have an official name. Then again, this does suggest that OnePlus is hard at work to bring Android N to its upcoming device.

Other specifications of the OnePlus 3 mentioned by Blass include a flagship-level Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, 64GB of internal storage, a 16MP rear camera, and surprise surprise, NFC – this wasn’t present on the OnePlus 2, much to the chagrin of the company’s fans.

Naturally, there isn’t any tentative release date yet for the virtual reality launch of the OnePlus 3. That being said, a few months ago, Carl Pei – the co-founder of OnePlus – did mention that the OnePlus 3 may launch sometime in June 2016.
