RHB has released a new version of its RHB Now mobile app which introduces the option of transferring funds through SMS, email, and Facebook Messenger. This feature does not require a bank account number from the recipient, and is able to send money to just about any Malaysian bank.
The RHB Now Mobile Banking app also cuts down the number of steps required to perform a transaction. This was done by implementing shortcuts in the form of Favourite transaction; which has already been available through the RHB online banking website.
Easy fund transfers aren’t the only new thing on the RHB Now app – as the bank has also included an e-commerce section. Users are able to buy items at considerable discounts through the app, and have it delivered directly to their homes. RHB has not shared who the vendors are, but a quick look through the tab reveals an iPad Mini 3 at RM1358 and the GoPro Hero camera at RM858.
The RHB Now app is available on both Android and iOS.
