Update: Xiaomi just confirmed that the Mi Max will be launched on 10 May 2016 in Beijing.

For those of you who are very excited to see what Xiaomi has got to offer on the upcoming Mi Max, here’s a little sneak peek. Xiaomi recently publish a photo of the Mi Max on its MIUI forum, asking fans to guess the size of the upcoming phablet.

We’ve seen numerous rumours and leaks of the Xiaomi Mi Max. One of the latest leak is of a front panel hinting that the device will sport a huge 6.4” display, but is it really going to be that huge? Here’s an official photo for you to guess.

Xiaomi also notes that the Mi Max does not have a Mi logo placed at the front of the device. As a little clue, they said that the Mi Max is a brand new product line for the Chinese company, which means that “the size of 4.7 inches , 5.0 inches, 5.15 inches, 5.5 inches and 7.9 inches are out of choice”.

Just last week, Xiaomi asked its fans on the MIUI forum to guess the size of the phablet. The hint given on that forum post places the Mi Max between the 5.7” Mi Note, and the 7.9” Mi Pad. So what could be larger than 5.7” and smaller than 7.9”, and still fits into the front pocket of a typical pair of jeans?
