Celcom recently introduced a new device care service that lets subscribers replace or swap their device. The service is part of the telco’s move to deliver superior customer experience.

Celcom Phone Care

Called Phone Care, it is the first in Malaysia that lets customers swap or replace their phones or tablets for any reason. It is available for postpaid and prepaid subscribers, and costs as low as RM4 a month or RM20 for six months.

The subscription fee depends on the recommended retail price of your current device. Phone Care is split into two categories – Swap Only or Swap & Replace. The fee is as shown below:

When you wish to make a claim, a service request fee will be charged. Again, the fee depends on your type of subscription and the RRP of your device.

When you request to make a replacement, Celcom will deliver your device to you from as fast as 6 hours in the Klang Valley, or between one to three days in other areas:

Phone Care is only at its beginning. Tuan Syed Md Najib Syed Md Noor, the Chief Customer Service & Touchpoint Operations Officer of Celcom Axiata Berhad said that Phone Care will evolve into a full device care service and backup plan, whereby customers can swap/replace their device, access significant security features and data back-up, and eventually, they will be able to chat and unravel most device-related questions from the palm of their hands.

Customers can enrol in Phone Care at all Celcom participating outlets. It is available for devices purchased from the telco, or devices purchased less than 30 days ago from other outlets.

Visit Celcom now for more information.
