In conjunction with the festive season, Huawei is giving a special gift to its customers. Instead of promoting the company’s flagship, the Huawei Mate S, on how it performs, the company is letting users decide for themselves.

First of all, those interested will need to register themselves on Huawei Malaysia’s Facebook page and take a simple 10-question survey. Each week, ten users will be selected to try out the Huawei Mate S for one whole week. These selected users will then need to sign a contract before getting the device.

After the one-week trial, a Huawei representative will come and collect the device, as well as conduct a survey with the user. The demo period will go on from December 2015 to January 2016; once the testing period is over, one out of these 10 users will win a Huawei TalkBand B2.

To recap, the Huawei Mate S is a 5.5-inch smartphone with a full HD display. It runs on a HiSilicon Kirin 935 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. In terms of storage, it has 64GB of internal storage with support for expansion via a microSD card slot. In the camera department, it has a 13MP camera on the back with an 8MP camera on the front. Also, powering the device is a non-removable 2,700mAh battery.

The Huawei Mate S retails for RM2,698, which is the same price as the Nexus 6P. Those who have always been interested in trying out the Huawei Mate S can take this opportunity to join the company’s “Wei to Christmas’ campaign.
