Announced back in IFA 2015, the Acer Aspire V Nitro is now available in Malaysia. Entering the country, the laptop is refreshed with Intel’s latest sixth generation Skylake processor and a GTX 960M graphics card.

There are three variants to the Acer Aspire V Nitro. First, we have the most affordable model, which has a 15.6-inch full HD display. It runs on a 2.3GHz Intel Core i5-6200U processor coupled with 4GB of DDR4 RAM and a 1TB hard disk. In terms of graphics, it has an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M graphics card with 4GB of dedicated memory.

Next is the mid-range model, which sports the same 15.6-inch full HD display as the previous variant. It runs on a higher-spec 2.6GHz Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor paired with 4GB of DDR4 RAM and a more powerful GTX 960M graphics card that has 4GB of dedicated DDR5 memory. Other than the 1TB hard disk, there is also an additional 128GB SSD.

The highest end of the Acer Aspire V Nitro series has a larger 17.3-inch full HD display and runs on a 2.6GHz Intel Core i7-6700HQ processor. Compared to the other two models, this one has 16GB of DDR4 RAM as well as a 256GB SSD on top of the existing 1TB hard disk drive. It also uses the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M with 4GB of dedicated DDR5 memory.

All variants of the Acer Aspire V Nitro series run on Windows 10 Home. The base model will sell for RM3,099, while the mid-range variant and the 17-inch model will go for RM4,699 and RM5,699 respectively. Those interested in the Acer’s V Nitro can visit the product’s official webpage here.
