Earlier this evening, DiGi customers have reported difficulties utilizing the telco’s services including data and calls. Few hours after that, the company has then confirmed the disruption on its network through replies to its customers together with a short statement on its social media channels.
As it turns out, the telco’s power system has been hit by a short circuit which led to the disruptions that was experienced by DiGi customers everywhere. Here is the telco’s statement that was published through Twitter:
At 6.27pm, a short circuit in our power system caused intermittent service. We r sorry 4 inconvenience. Pls expect full recovery by 9.30pm.

While the telco has advised all users to restart their phones in order to resume the service, it seems that DiGi is still rectifying all the issues that have been caused by the power disruption in its system according to responses to its customers on Twitter and Facebook.
