Targus has made its GRID collection of high impact backpacks and slipcases available in Malaysia. These accessories are one of the toughest that Targus have made yet as they all pass the US military MIL-STD-810G standard for drop tests that could keep devices protected from drops of up to 1.2 metres.
The GRID Backpacks come in three models – the Essential 27L, Advanced 32L, and Premium 32L. They’re made from polyester and comes with padded inner vaults that help keep up to 16-inch laptops suspended from impact and 360-degree memory foam helps absorb further shock.
On the outside, the backpacks have reflective accents that increases visibility of the backpack and its user. The Essential and Advanced backpacks have weather resistant poly-coated base while the Premium model has weather resistant zippers and a reinforced bumpered base.
On the other hand, the GRID Slipcases come in three sizes – the 12-inch vertical as well as horizontal 14 and 15.6-inch models. Made from polyurethane (PU), these slipcases also pass the military MIL-STD-810G standard for drop tests. Besides that, they also have reinforced shock absorbing corners. These slipcases feature a thin profile and a hooded design with a magnetic closure to secure its contents.
The GRID Backpacks and Slipcases are now available in Malaysia in selected premium retailers nationwide. The GRID Essential 27L, Advanced 32L and Premium 32L backpacks will cost RM389, RM489 and RM569 respectively while the GRID 12-inch, 14-inch and 15.6-inch Slipcases will be priced at RM259, RM289 and RM299 respectively. These prices are inclusive of 6% GST and they all come with limited lifetime warranty.
