For those of you who wish to get one of Asus’ latest smartphones – the ZenFone Selfie or ZenFone 2 Laser, both devices are now available from Digi from as low as RM49 and RM0 respectively.
As always, you will need to sign up for a 12 or 24 months contract with one of Digi’s postpaid plans – SmartPlan 78/98/148.
The plans above are all tied to a 24 months contract unless otherwise stated (DG SmartPlan 78 has a 12 months option as well). Digi is offering the ZenFone Selfie in blue or white, while the ZenFone Laser is available in either black or red. Upfront/Advance payment is applicable and the charges depend on the plans you pick.
Both the Asus ZenFone Selfie and ZenFone 2 Laser are mid-range Android smartphones. The ZenFone Selfie, as its name suggest, is a selfie-centric smartphone with a large front-facing 13MP camera accompanied with a dual LED flash. The rear camera also has the same setup, as well as an addition of the laser auto-focus system. On the inside, the ZenFone Selfie is powered by a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 615 SoC with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage (up to 128GB microSD card). It has a 5.5” Full HD Gorilla Glass 4 display.
As for the ZenFone 2 Laser, it is slightly lower-end compared to the ZenFone selfie, with a 5.5” HD IPS display, and is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. Other specs include 5MP front camera, and a 2400mAh battery. But what makes the ZenFone laser stand out isn’t the specs, it’s the laser autofocus system on the 13MP rear camera, that lets it focus on an object as quickly as possible.
