This notice arrives rather late but it has come to our attention that there would be an Intel DIY PC Enthusiast Gaming showcase this weekend at Thunder Match in Plaza Low Yat. While it might sound like another typical roadshow, there will apparently be a mini gaming competition at the event where the winner will end up with a brand new Intel 6th generation Core processor.
Part of the newly released Skylake family of processors, the exact model that will be given away through the competition is the Core i5-6400 quad-core processor with a base clock speed of 2.7GHz. Organized by Achieva Technology Malaysia, there’s also a PowerColor Radeon R9 270 graphics card, PowerColor t-shirt, and Silicon Power flash drive to be won at the event as well.
There is one catch though: the actual game title for the competition will only be revealed tonight at 11:59 pm, despite the fact that the poster above clearly showed GRID Autosport. The only hint given by Achieva is that the game involves elimination which not exactly helpful enough.
Nevertheless, do grab the participation slots immediately if you want to try your luck at the competition as there are only 50 slots available for it. For further information, head on to Thunder Match or Achieva Technology Malaysia’s Facebook page.
