Asus Launches Slew of New ROG Products in Malaysia from RM3,199

Asus has just launched a whole suite of new Republic of Gamers (ROG) products in Malaysia. These include the ASUS ROG G501, G751 and GL552 gaming laptops. Also launched today is the sleek Asus G20 compact gaming PC.

Measuring only 20.6mm at its thickest point and weighing 2.06kg, the ROG G501 is one of the slimmest and lightest gaming laptop in the market. Under its hood is a fast Intel Core i7-4720HQ processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M GPU, up to 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB HDD with an optional 128GB PCIe SSD. There are also two choices of display for the G501: a regular 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 resolution IPS display, or a decked out 4K display. The full HD display model will go for RM4,699 (1TB HDD) or RM4,999 (1TB HDD with a 128GB SSD), while the 4K variant is priced at RM6,399.

The G751, on the other hand, is a beefier gaming laptop. It has a 17.3-inch 1080p display, a Core i7-4870HQ processor, a GeForce GTX 980M or 970M graphics card, up to 24GB of RAM, a 1TB HDD along with a 128GB SSD, and a Blu-Ray or DVD drive. It is priced at RM5,899 for the GTX 970M model and RM8,499 for the GTX 980M variant.

Launched alongside these two Asus ROG gaming laptops today is the GL552. Its hardware include a 15.6-inch 1080p display, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950 GPU, 4GB of RAM, and a 750GB hard disk. Priced at RM3,199, it is the most affordable of the bunch.

Last but not least is the Asus ROG G20, a compact desktop PC that has two configurations: an AMD or an Intel model. The AMD variant is equipped with an AMD FX-770K processor, a Radeon R9 255 GPU and a DVD drive. The Intel model, on the other hand, has a Core i7-4790 processor, a GeForce GTX 760 GPU and a Blu-Ray drive. The AMD variant goes for RM3,999 while the Intel model is set at RM5,499.

All of these Asus ROG products are now available in the market. Every purchase of the Asus ROG G501 or G751 gaming laptop will come with a gaming mouse and a pair of headphones, while a laptop bag will also be given with any purchase of an ROG gaming laptop.
