ZTE’s brand new Android smartphone, the Q519T, might just be the budget device to get. Launched in China just recently, it is priced at a mere 599 Chinese yuan (about RM350). What makes it a very attractive smartphone at this price point is its LTE connectivity and a huge 4,000mAh battery; features which will definitely catch the attention of budget-conscious consumers.
Because of its low retail price, the ZTE Q519T is one of the most (if not the most) affordable LTE Android smartphone. It is also equipped with a 5-inch 1280 x 720 display, a MediaTek MT6735 1.0GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable storage (microSD card up to 32GB), dual-SIM support, and 5MP rear and 2MP front-facing cameras. It will also ship with Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
While the hardware of the ZTE Q519T will not blow anyone anyway, it’s worth mentioning again that it is only retailing at about RM350. For that price, it offers a 5-inch display with a very acceptable 720p resolution, LTE connectivity, and a very, very generous 4,000mAh battery – which ZTE claims can offer 35 days of standby time. In terms of colour option, it will be available in white, blue or gold.
At the time of writing, the ZTE Q519T has only been launched in China with no word on local availability yet. If it does make its way to Malaysia, the Q519T might just be the budget Android smartphone to get – assuming it offers an acceptable level of performance.
